1. DATA CONTROLLER

This policy explains what data we process through meatvertoudos.com, the MeatVertoudos BONUS programme, contact channels and related digital services.
2. DATA WE COLLECT
Depending on how you use the website, we may process:
• Basic technical visit data, such as IP address, device and browser type, access date and time, pages visited and essential server security logs.• Analytics data and cookie identifiers, in accordance with the cookie choices you make.• Information you provide when contacting us, such as your name, email address, telephone number and message.• For MeatVertoudos BONUS: full name, email address, mobile or landline number, registration date and time, acknowledgement of this notice, member identifier/barcode, card activation status and the points or redemption information required to operate the programme.• Information necessary to process an order or transaction when you use a relevant service.
The BONUS form does not request special-category data such as health information or political or religious beliefs. Please do not send us such information.
AI Meat Planner operates without a profile, account, email address or stored personal history of generated plans. The selections you enter are used to display the result, subject to basic technical logs that the hosting provider may retain for security and operation.
3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES
We process data only for specific purposes:
• To operate, secure and technically support the website, based on our legitimate interest in providing secure services.• To respond to enquiries, requests or orders and to take steps before or during the performance of a transaction or service.• To register, activate and operate the BONUS Card, prevent duplicate registrations, manage points and deliver the digital card, because this is necessary for participation in the programme.• To prevent fraud, misuse and technical errors, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the business and its customers.• To measure website usage where consent for the relevant analytics cookies is required and has been given.• To comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
We do not use BONUS Card details for general advertising or marketing without separate, explicit consent. We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. BONUS DATA FLOW
When the form is submitted, the details are recorded in the business's protected Google Workspace systems and checked for validity and possible duplication. An authorised person then activates the customer in Simply, adds the 50 welcome points and confirms visibility at the till. The digital BONUS Card is emailed after activation.
The telephone number is used to create the barcode identifier and identify the member. The barcode is not published and is not used for another purpose.
5. RECIPIENTS
Access is limited to authorised Meat Boutique Vertoudos personnel who need the data to operate the service. Necessary categories of providers may include:
• Webnode for website hosting and operation.• Google Workspace and related Google services for forms, storage, automations and email.• Simply for customer, points and till-card management.• Technical-support providers, only where necessary and under confidentiality obligations.• Public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
We do not sell, rent or trade customers' personal data.
6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer must rely on an applicable lawful safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses, depending on the service and processing location.
7. RETENTION
We retain data only for as long as necessary:
• BONUS details are retained while the card remains active. After participation ends, they are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for pending transactions, security, legal claims or statutory obligations.• Ordinary contact requests are retained until the request is resolved and afterwards only where a lawful or operational need remains.• Transaction records are retained for the periods required by tax and commercial law.• Technical logs and analytics data are kept according to the necessary security and retention settings of the relevant providers.
8. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
The website may use essential cookies for core functions and, according to your choices, analytics cookies such as Google Analytics 4. You can manage these choices through the website's Cookies tool. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent BONUS registration.
9. EXTERNAL LINKS AND SOCIAL MEDIA
The website includes links to Google Maps, Wolt and social networks. When you follow an external link, that provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent websites.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the GDPR, where applicable, you have the right to:
• access your personal data,• correct inaccurate or incomplete data,• request erasure,• restrict processing,• object to processing based on legitimate interests,• data portability,• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
